Leadership Lawton/Ft. Sill

Leadership Lawton-Fort Sill is designed to develop talents and broaden perspectives of present and future community leaders. Each year a class of about 20 participants from diverse ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds are exposed to issues and organizations affecting life in Lawton, Comanche County, and the State. They participate in a series of activities designed to enhance their leadership potential.

Volunteer community leadership development programs exist in more than 400 cities in the U.S. As communities have grown, they have recognized the need to sustain community leadership with new people who have a commitment to their community, have pride in its achievements, and a willingness to give their time and talents to meet the challenges of the future.
